P.Mohan Kumar (PMK) was born on 1965 from a traditional business family. He has passed engineering in Electronics and Communication Eng. After completion, he has joined his uncle Mr.Subramanian, who was one of the first exporter from Tirupur who have explored the Export business allover the world. They were formed “Tirupur Exporters Association” and executive member till then.

PMK’s grandfather (fathers) was running local Bank earlier 20^th centaury. After, they started handloom textiles business selling Allover south India

PMK’s father was an electrical engineer in state government and resigned his job and continued their family business. In 1960s they have started Spinning Mill when only a couple of such mill were in Tirupur. Their products were, hangs, reeling, cone winding, handloom power loom, knitting, local banians (vest), screen printed bags, etc., He also had wholesale and retail shop in Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

PMK’s grandfather (mothers) was doing local and International business also. They were doing export business with Sri Lanka, Nigeria, Burma & Singapore from 1920 onwards. They had their shop at Sri Lanka, Port Blair. Their products were towel, dhotis, lungies, vest brief sarees etc.,

PMK’s both grandfathers were the president and member of “Tirupur Hosiery Knit wears Manufacturer Association “ in 1952
